SoulxMaka chapter 1

Soul looked at Maka from across the room. She was cooking breakfast,
and the fragrance of eggs, bacon and toast swam in the Friday morning
air. He loved her. He loved her with all his heart, but had not known
how to express it.

“Alright, finished,” she sighed and turned off the heat
on the stove. As she turned around, Soul saw the scar on her neck.
The scar she had gotten from Crona when the black blood had gotten to
her. He winced slightly, remembering the scene.

“Is everything alright?” she asked as she scooped the
eggs onto Soul's plate. He nodded and sighed, “Yeah, um.
Everything's fine.” She narrowed her eyes slightly, nodded, and
sat down across from him at the table, loading her own plate. He bit
into his toast, trying to avoid his meister's olive eyes. “Listen,”
she started ,”I'm not going to be here tonight. I'll be at
Tsubaki's place. She's having some girls over.”

Soul nodded and sighed. … A few hours later...

“YAHOOOO!” Black*star yelled and ran into Soul's house,
Kid following close behind. Soul grunted, “Shut up.”

“Whats his problem?” the blue haired boy nudged his
Shinigami friend with an elbow. Kid shrugged and sighed.

“Listen,” Soul sighed quietly, “I... I like Maka.
But I just don't know what to do to express it.”

Black*star laughed, “Wait, you like your flat chested bookworm
of a meister?!” Soul growled, “Shut up. Now.” Kid
sighed, “Yeah, Black*star, don't be so rude.”

Soul sighed, “Just... I want to do something for her. But I
don't know what.”
